plan d'intervention en santé environnementale dans les 12 camps de réfugiés palestiniens au Liban (2018-2021) rapport Jul 2018 ; 260 pages ![]() Ed. UNRWA - Ghobeiri Téléchargeable sous format: PdF ![]() Abstract: Strategic Objective: Improve the built environment by providing robust infrastructure, camp improvement services and participatory solutions in partnership with refugees and relevant stakeholders. Despite their longstanding presence in Lebanon, Palestine Refugees remain excluded from key aspects of social, political and economic life in the country. One quarter of Palestine refugees are living in multidimensional poverty, exacerbated by the lack of decent employment opportunities. Those that are available are mainly low-skilled and elementary informal jobs. Solutions must be viewed in terms of operation and maintenance as well as urban planning with greater involvement from the refugees and other populations living inside the camps and who benefit from environmental health services. Any environmental health intervention must also seek to empower the populations and improve their knowledge on their rights and duties. Public-Cible:
