Résumé:
Concevoir des systèmes de pompage efficaces
Contents:
The handbook is divided into 5 chapters which deal with different phases when designing pump systems.
Throughout chapter 1 we make a general presentation of different pump types and components. Here we also describe which precautions to adopt when dealing with viscous liquids. Further, the most used materials as well as different types of corrosion are presented here.
The most important terminologies in connection with reading the pump performance are presented in chapter 2.
Chapter 3 deals with system hydraulics and some of the most important factors to consider to obtain optimum operation of the pump system.
As it is often necessary to adjust the pump performance by means of different adjustment methods, these are dealt with in chapter 4.
Chapter 5 describes the life cycle costs as energy consumption plays an important role in today’s pumps and pump systems.
