Its activities include defence, protection and research of the natural heritage as well as promotion of educational campaigns, with a global concept of the problems affecting species, ecosystems and the man relationship with the environment. This implies regulation and management of land, a social and economic vision of the problems and a personal involvement of citizens, leading to the creation of a society which is aware of the vital need for preserving a high quality environment, and the role of individuals ans groups to carry out this mission
