| Objectives: A distance learning course aimed at equipping personnel in both rural and urban water supply and sanitation service provision with inter-disciplinary appreciation of planning, implementing and monitoring skills. The course is divided into six modules, namely: water supplies, wastewater treatment, planning and management, health and epidemiology, gender, community participation and management, monitoring and evaluation. Participants will be required to carry out a project, which is meant to strengthen their analytical and writing skills. It involves identification of a problem, in depth literature review, analysis of the problem and drawing conclusions and recommendations. | ||
