Objectives: |
The general programme objective is to strengthen the capacity of the participants to support and stimulate IWRM processes in their home countries and in their respective organisations underlining the importance of a cross-sectoral approach. Furthermore, the participants should actively engage in and contribute to regional and national networks on IWRM. All participants must as part of the training programme prepare their individual project on an IWRM topic relevant to their work situation or their organisation. | ||||||

The international training programme in Integrated Water Resources Management is targeted towards management staff from governmental, non-governmental organisations and private sector involved in physical planning and water resources development. | ||||||
