Numéro spécial de la revue Facts Reports, publiée par l’Institut Veolia, et consacré à Electrification décentralisée et Développement. Ce dossier, préfacé par J.-M. Severino, nous fait voyager des Seychelles au Brésil, en passant par Madagascar, le Mali, et bien d’autres lieux où s’inventent de nouvelles organisations pour apporter l’électricité aux ruraux. Mini-grids, energy kiosks, solutions individuelles sont analysés à la fois d’un point de vue technique, économique et social, à travers des situations de terrain. Au-delà de la fourniture d’électricité, les enjeux concernent la fourniture de services : éclairage, services sociaux, services apportés par les entreprises rurales électrifiées, … Abstract:
Special issue of the journal Facts Reports, published by the Veolia Institute, and devoted to Decentralized Electrification and Development. This dossier, prefaced by J.-M. Severino, takes us from the Seychelles to Brazil, via Madagascar, Mali, and many other places where new organizations are being invented to bring electricity to rural populations. Mini-grids, energy kiosks, individual solutions are analyzed from a technical, economic and social point of view, through field situations. Beyond the supply of electricity, the issues concern the supply of services: lighting, social services, services provided by electrified rural businesses, etc. Contents:
