L'équipe Eau de l'USAID mène une série de six évaluations ex-post indépendantes afin de mieux comprendre l'impact et la durabilité à long terme de ses interventions liées à l'eau, à l'assainissement et à l'hygiène (WASH). Cette série d'évaluations aidera l'USAID à comprendre si et comment les résultats de ses activités ont été durables des années après la clôture des projets WASH et à informer les futurs investissements de l'USAID dans le secteur.

La sixième et dernière évaluation ex-post de la série a examiné le volet WASH de l'activité Renforcement des communautés par la programmation intégrée (SCIP) mise en œuvre de 2009 à 2015 dans la province de Zambézia, au Mozambique. Abstract:
The USAID Water Team is conducting a series of six independent ex-post evaluations to better understand the long-term impact and sustainability of its WASH-related interventions. This evaluation series will help USAID understand whether and how its activity results have been sustained years after WASH projects close and inform future USAID investments in the sector.

The sixth and final ex-post evaluation in the series looked at the WASH component of the Strengthening Communities through Integrated Programming (SCIP) activity implemented from 2009–2015 in Zambézia Province, Mozambique.
