Abstract:
Having consumed unsafe water from as long as she remembers, this documentary ‘Jol diye shuru’ (Bangla)/ ‘Let’s begin with water’ (English) walks the viewer though the life of ‘Nitu’ – a school-going girl who shares a typical day in her life where currently clean water is easily available and widely consumed; something which was not as normal for her and her community even a year or two back.
