Résumé:
Voici l’histoire de Rosemaine, une jeune haïtienne de 12 ans. Depuis qu’elle a failli perdre son frère, atteint du choléra, elle milite chaque jour pour que sa famille ait accès à une eau propre et saine.
Abstract:
Rosemaine’s Story
Rosemaine's 13-year-old brother Alexis got cholera. "He washed his hands with dirty water, and then ate with them," she explains. During a weeklong stay in a medical clinic, Alexis nearly died.
After, she devoted her life to keeping her loved ones safe and healthy, becoming an advocate for clean water in Haiti and prioritizing her schoolwork so she can grow up to become a nurse. She is just one of the millions of children around the world who struggle with access to clean, safe water for themselves and their families.
Rosemaine dreams of becoming a nurse after being impressed how the nurses helped her brother at the Cholera Treatment Center (CTC). Together, we can help more children like Rosemaine achieve their dreams and full potential.
