Abstract:
During the World Water Week 2016 in Stockholm, AquaFed launches its new flagship publication: "Water and Jobs. Private Operators: employers and jobs creators". The report highlights and explains the roles that private water operators play in water and formal employment:

- The role of private operators in providing direct employment of people
- The role of indirect employment of people through subcontractors and suppliers to private water operators
- The role of water and wastewater services in stimulating local economies and enabling others to create jobs
