Abstract:
These guidelines seek to assist in the provision of reliable water supply where mass displacement of people has occurred, e.g. in refugee camps and relief centers, as well as for work with smaller communities who may not have been displaced from their homes. It contains the following chapters:
- Assessing water quality
- Treatment technologies
- Application of treatment processes
- Installation strategy for bulk water
- Operation/management
The techniques and equipment described reflect the most current practice of Oxfam GB.
