Abstract:
Sigma is a benchmarking and performance indicators software for drinking water and wastewater utilities. The software is based on the IWA system of performance indicators and its Lite version is the official software for such system. Sigma makes the definition of a performance indicators system and the management of results an easy task.
Performance indicators are a powerful tool to manage water utilities. Sigma Lite is a freeware package based on a proposed set of performance indicators by the International Water Association. Sigma guides the user through the process of selecting and implementing a system of indicators for the utility. Sigma es un programa específico para el benchmarking y el uso de indicadores en empresas de agua potable y saneamiento.
