Comfort at School - No more Latrine! | ||||||||

WVI - Ulaanbaatar Downloadable from the publisher Editor Presentation Abstract: Many children in Mongolia do not have access to clean water or decent sanitation facilities. This is particularly evident in schools, many of which do not have adequate sanitation or drinking water sources. Poor water and sanitation leads to diarrhoea and other waterborne diseases. This school had no proper bathroom for the children, who had to use an outdoor latrine. This was an uncomfortable experience for the students, especially in winter when it's cold and slippery.
