Pour une gestion ou une analyse efficace d’un projet en eau, hygiène ou assainissement, le responsable ou le chercheur doit pouvoir être informé sur l’état actuel du projet à tout moment afin de revoir sa direction si besoin et de mesurer sa progression. Beaucoup d’indicateurs de suivi peuvent être mesurés mais la collecte et l’analyse des informations coûtent cher. Ainsi, il est important de choisir quels indicateurs utiliser et décider quand, où et comment les mesurer. Ce guide est une aide à ce processus de prise de décision. Abstract:
For the effective management or investigation of a water, sanitation or hygiene project, the manager or researcher has to be aware of the current state of the project at any given point to be able to review its direction and measure progress towards its goal. Many indicators of progress can be measured but collecting and analysing information is expensive, so choosing which indicators to use and deciding when, where and how to measure them is important.
