Ce dessin animé porte sur la transmission du choléra, sa prévention, les signes d'apparition et les soins ŕ apporter d'une façon simple et accessible. Le film rend visibles les germes invisibles du choléra, ainsi comme le jeune garçon qui montre comment aider les malades et guide son village pour prévenir la propagation du choléra.
On montre aussi comment préparer ŕ la maison le sérum oral de réhydratation avec du sucre, du sel et de l'eau potable.
Ce film peut ętre utilisé par les agents de santé. Il peut ętre téléchargé gratuitement. Flashcards sont également disponibles pour visionner sur des téléphones portables (trčs utile dans des endroits sans électricité ni accčs ŕ Internet). This animation covers cholera transmission, prevention, signs, and care in a simple and accessible way. The film follows evidence-based guidelines, has been field-tested, and reviewed for accuracy and content.
This film makes visible the invisible cholera germs as a young boy shows how to help the sick and guides his village in preventing the spread of cholera.
The film shows how to make the basic homemade oral rehydration solution using sugar, salt, and safe water as these items were felt to be most widely available. However, a solution prepared with a readymade ORS packet is the first choice if supplies are available.
The film is being used by health workers to educate their communities. It can be downloaded free-of-charge from our website. Flashcards are also available for free download to use in places with no electricity or internet access.
