Abstract:
This presentation highlights the drawbacks of supply-driven sanitation approaches and gave a rationale for a marketing style approach to sanitation. The presentation outlines Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) which focuses on igniting a change in sanitation behaviour rather than constructing toilets.
