Résumé:
ECHO (DG humanitaire de la Commission européenne) a mis en ligne sa revue des questions concernant l'eau et l'assainissement dans l'aide humanitaire. Trois documents sont à télécharger (en anglais, Word et PDF, disponible bientôt en français):
1/ Une note d'ECHO sur sa stratégie dans le domaine de l'eau et de l'assainissement
2/ Un guide avec des points sur les enjeux dans ce secteur et sur les sujets clés, des contacts, des exemples de bonnes pratiques, des informations techniques sur l'eau et l'assainissement en situation d'urgence.
3/ Un résumé de ce guide
Abstract:
This Water and Sanitation Review has been undertaken in accordance with article 4 of the EC Humanitarian Regulation 1257/96 which allows for the financing of “- the technical assistance necessary for the implementation of humanitarian projects, including the exchange of technical know-how and experience…”.
The review was carried out by an independent company ‘Aguaconsult’ and involved extensive consultation with DG ECHO’s staff, partners and other relevant parties. This DVD contains the results of the review: a succinct policy statement by DG ECHO; a Concept Paper; and Model Guidelines. The products should be consulted and used in conjunction with each other.
