Abstract:
This book is for network operators and consultants who are about to embark on a water loss management programme. The author draws on first-hand knowledge to provide the information that will: help them to understand the significance scale of the problem, quantify the volume of the loses, be aware of the various techniques that can be employed to monitor and control the leakage, select the appropriate management practices and equipment, develop a suitable strategy for a particular network, design a leakage and management control system, and identify the maintenance and training requirements that are needed to sustain the system.
