Eau, assainissement et hygiène : l'évolution d'un secteur mondial de la santé et du développement Oct 2024 ; 17 pages ![]() Ed. We identify four key themes that reflect core commitments of the sector, and that have shaped the thrust of action to know, improve and invest in WASH: technicalisation, universalisation, responsibilisation and metricisation. This analysis is critical for understanding not just the chronology of events but the scaffolding upon which priorities, programmes and practices in the WASH sector have been built, offering insights for reshaping the sector to reach its goals of universal access to safe WASH around the globe.
