Abstract:
This LCOE tool is one component of the DREI framework to assist policymakers in selecting public instruments to promote renewable energy investment. It calculates the levelised cost of electricity (LCOE) for a given country’s target rural electrification using solar PV-battery mini-grids, before and after the introduction of public instruments.
