Résumé:
Depuis son lancement en 2018, le rapport Tracking SDG 7: The Energy Progress Report est devenu la référence mondiale pour suivre les avancées vers la réalisation de l’Objectif de Développement Durable n°7 (ODD 7) de l’Agenda 2030 des Nations Unies. Ce rapport est publié chaque année par les cinq agences chefs de file chargées de surveiller les progrès accomplis : l’Agence internationale de l’énergie (AIE), l’Agence internationale pour les énergies renouvelables (IRENA), la Division de statistique des Nations Unies (DSNU), la Banque mondiale, et l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS).
L’objectif de l’ODD 7 est de « garantir l’accès de tous à une énergie abordable, fiable, durable et moderne ». Le rapport dresse ainsi un état des lieux mondial des progrès réalisés en matière d’accès à l’énergie, d’efficacité énergétique, d’énergies renouvelables, de cuisson propre, ainsi que de coopération internationale en faveur de l’ODD 7. Il présente des statistiques actualisées pour chacun des indicateurs et propose des pistes d’action et des recommandations politiques pour accélérer les progrès vers cet objectif. Abstract:
Since its inception in 2018, Tracking SDG 7: The Energy Progress Report has become the global reference for information on progress toward the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The report is produced annually by the five custodian agencies responsible for tracking progress toward the goal. The custodian agencies are the International Energy Agency (IEA), the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), the World Bank, and the World Health Organization (WHO).
The aim of SDG 7 is to “ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.” This report thus summarizes global progress on energy access, energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean cooking, and international cooperation to advance SDG 7. It presents updated statistics for each of the indicators and provides policy insights on priority areas and actions needed to spur further progress on SDG 7. Sommaire:
