Cette boîte à outils pour l’accès à l’énergie propre dans les camps de personnes déplacées est basée sur les enseignements tirés du projet « Une nouvelle approche pour construire un marché de solutions énergétiques durables dans les camps de déplacés », financée par Innovation Norway et mise en œuvre par l’OIM avec le soutien du NORCAP. Le projet vise à établir un marché durable pour l’énergie propre dans ces zones au Mozambique, en comblant l’écart entre la demande et l’offre.
Dans le contexte dynamique de l’aide humanitaire, la satisfaction des besoins énergétiques des populations déplacées est de plus en plus reconnue comme un élément clé des solutions durables et du développement durable. Le rôle des acteurs privés dans cette entreprise a également été souligné comme étant essentiel pour relever l’ampleur du défi. À ce titre, l’Organisation internationale pour les migrations (OIM) s’est engagée dans un parcours visant à combler le fossé entre la demande de solutions énergétiques durables et l’offre de produits et services du secteur privé dans ces situations de déplacement. La complexité de cette tâche exige une approche globale qui combine des solutions novatrices, des partenariats stratégiques, l’engagement des parties prenantes et le partage des connaissances.
Cette boîte à outils vise à servir de soutien pratique aux autres organisations humanitaires et prestataires privés qui souhaitent collaborer pour développer et mettre en œuvre une solution énergétique propre en étroite coordination. Abstract:
This toolkit for access to clean energy in displacement settings is based on the learnings from the project “A new approach to building a marketplace for sustainable energy solutions in displacement settings“ funded by Innovation Norway and implemented by IOM with the support of NORCAP. The project aims to establish a sustainable market for clean energy in displacement settings in Mozambique, by bridging the gap between the demand and supply side.
In the dynamic landscape of humanitarian assistance, addressing the energy needs of displaced populations is increasingly recognized as a key component of durable solutions and sustainable development. The role of private actors in this endeavour has been also highlighted as critical for addressing the breadth of the challenge. As such, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has embarked on a journey to bridge the gap between the demand for sustainable energy solutions and the supply of products and services from the private sector in displacement settings. The complexities of this task necessitate a comprehensive approach that combines innovative solutions, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement and knowledge-sharing.
This toolkit aims to serve as a practical support to other humanitarian organizations and private providers who want to collaborate to develop and implement clean energy solution in close coordination. Contents:
