L'objectif de ce rapport est de combler le manque de connaissances concernant à la fois les ressources en eau (abordées dans la législation sur l'eau) et le développement des infrastructures (essentiel pour accéder à une quantité suffisante d'eau en temps et lieu) en développant une compréhension approfondie de la propriété coutumière de l'eau, avec la communauté rurale agricole ou pastorale comme unité d'analyse. Abstract:
This report aims to fill the knowledge gap pertaining to both water resources (as addressed in water law) and infrastructure development (key to access sufficient water when and where needed) by developing a grounded understanding of customary water tenure, with the rural farming or pastoralist community as the unit of analysis.
