Abstract:
In a country like India, where the women number around 355 million. Only 12% of total women have access to sanitary napkins. This is primarily due to non availability of financial resources to access hygienic products to use during periods. Lack of knowledge and awareness about menstrual health and lack of resources to handle periods is impacting the health, education and progress of millions women and adolescent girls .
