Les tentatives de mise en œuvre de processus participatifs sont souvent compliquées par des réalités qui rendent les objectifs de participation inatteignables. Par conséquent, pour que la participation ne se limite pas aux bonnes intentions, il est essentiel de comprendre les stratégies déployées par les organisations non gouvernementales internationales en matière de développement participatif.
Cette étude a utilisé une approche qualitative d'étude de cas pour évaluer les processus participatifs employés dans deux projets WASH mis en œuvre par WaterAid Nigeria en travaillant avec les autorités locales. Abstract:
Attempts to implement participatory processes are often complicated by realities which make objectives of participation unattainable. Hence, if participation is to mean more than good intentions, it is vital to understand the strategies deployed by international nongovernmental organisations in participatory development. This study employed a qualitative casestudy approach to evaluate the participatory processes employed in two WASH projects implemented by WaterAid Nigeria attempting work with Local Government Areas.
