Abstract:
This presentation was done as part of the water-energy workshop. It introduces water-energy interlinkages in Lebanon and existing solutions for alternative energy supply, presenting results from the 2021 water-energy nexus study and from a study on wastewater power production potential (sludge co-digestion and micro-electricity). Recommendations are shared to develop renewable energy for water and wastewater services in the Lebanese context.
