Abstract:
Three Valleys Water offer a range of services to schools and teachers including:
* Full in-school education days delivered by Three Valleys Water staff specifically tailored to Key Stages 1 & 2 and linked to the National Curriculum. Activities include school assemblies, water audits carried out with the children, and studying the water cycle.
* The Water Box - a resource for key stage 2 children to find out about water. It contains the equipment and guidance to carry out 21 investigations into the properties of water, how it is cleaned, how it moves, how we use it and how it mixes with other materials.
* Visits to the Environment and Education Centre with indoor and outdoor activities on a range of topics including the weather, recycling, the environment and more.
