Abstract:
The present National Report was prepared with a focus on the governance challenges to the mobilisation of sustainable financing for water services, also through private sector participation.
This report identifies recommendations pertinent to the three governance challenges that face the water sector in Mediterranean countries:
1 improving the budget processes
2 developing the regulatory framework
3 promoting and ensuring stakeholders engagement
