Abstract:
Women bear the brunt of a world water shortage that is getting more and more critical as clean water becomes more and more scarce.
This video is the first of the 2 part Al-Jazeera Everywoman documentary on Women and Politics of Water. It features an interview with Maude Barlow - author of "Blue Gold" - and films two women in rural and urban Tanzania in their daily struggle to access water for their families.
